Fitting Guide – Roman Blinds

Recess Fitting

  1. Measure the depth of the handle (if there is one) to ensure the brackets are fitted forward enough to allow the blind to operate without hitting the blind.
  2. Mark with a pen where the bracket holes will be. The drill a 3mm pilot hole. If you go into wood then use the screws to fix the brackets.
  3. Depending on the blind you have the brackets may differ slightly but simply insert the blind on to the bracket and either push it into place or twist the lock on the bracket. The top of the blind rail has velcro to ensure you can adjust the fabric to ensure the brackets can’t be seen.
  4. Use the P-Clip for child safety. Ensure the blind chain is not too tightly fitted to the clip.
