Fitting – Roller Blinds

Recess Fitting

It will depend on if you have timber steel or concrete as a window lintel, however screws and plugs will be supplied with your blind.

  1. Measure the depth of the handle (if there is one) to ensure the brackets are fitted forward enough to allow the blind to operate without hitting the handle.
  2. Mark with a pen where the bracket holes will be. Then drill a 3mm pilot hole. If you go into wood then use the screws to fix the brackets. Use plugs provided if not. If it’s fitted to plasterboard then you will need to get appropriate plugs (not supplied).
  3. Insert the male end of the roller blind into the female bracket and push into position, at the other end it is important to ensure the chain is able to move easily.
  4. Ensure the P-clip is fitted with the chain not so tight but tight enough so the blind opens and closes easily.
